The group is young bowlers 16 years and under from the north area of District 1- i.e. Orkney, Sutherland & Caithness, who took part in a Round Robin Competition held at Thurso B.C.The Competition, sponsored by the Regional Supervisor of Coaching on behalf of Scottish Bowls Coaching, was an outstanding success thoroughly enjoyed by very enthusiastic participants and appreciative spectator.In the photo along with the young bowlers are center- Ian Durie(Regional Supervisor) & Nancy MacAdie & Keith Boden(Club Coaches who ran the event)
